Dr. Ann Lebeck
Dr. Ann Lebeck joined Lemak Sports Medicine & Orthopedics in August, 2011 and practices at our Alabaster location.
Dr. Lebeck was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. She is an Honors graduate and Valedictorian of Georgian College of Applied Arts and Technology in Nursing. She earned her MD degree with Honors from Ross University in 2007. She then completed a Family Medicine Residency program at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
In 2011 Dr. Lebeck completed her fellowship in Sports Medicine and has spent a great deal of her training with college and high school athletes as well as the weekend warriors. She also spent a great deal of time at mass participant events such as the Columbus Marathon and the Greater Ohio Biking Adventure. Dr. Lebeck volunteers annually on the medical team for the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic, the world’s largest sports and body building event with 18,000 competing athletes over a period of four days. She is a proud member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Lebeck is the proud mother of three children: Vanessa, Kyle and Nicholas. During Dr. Lebeck’s spare time, she enjoys reading, biking, playing the guitar, attending her son’s athletic activities and vacationing with her family.
