"My daughter tore her ACL in a freak accident—she is a school teacher, not a sports figure. My husband and I took her to Lemak Sports Medicine & Orthopedics and Dr. Agee saw her and was the first doctor to actually touch her knee. "Dr. Faulkner, when I came to you I was scared, there were so many horror stories about failed back surgeries that I was reluctant to let anyone touch my back. In fact, none of the evidence, MRIs, or x-rays supported surgery as a solution.After some aggressive persuasion you agreed to do surgery anyway. You found a bone fragment stuck in my spinal cord that did not show up on ay of the films. It tooks months of work, but I was on the road to recovery.
